Bran Castle was pleased to welcome its champions. The "Stone" elevator is an integral part of the Time Tunnel, which is considered to be the greatest current innovation among the European museums. The award is a new recognition of the Romanian professionalism, creativity and excellence; it comes after 56 years spent by Mr. Marton Geza Roth in the field and 28 years of teamwork under his direction.
Nicole Dutu, a Romanian actress and playwright, just launched "Dracula - The Kiss in the Black Church" at Bran Castle, which is the English version of "Cum l-am invins pe Dracula". Her debut novel is a combination of police intrigue and supernatural elements with a historical background, consisting of five different stories that follow Dracula's obsession for the woman he loves, an obsession that challenges space and time. Of course, Count Dracula and other fantastic characters could not miss the event.

The journey will carry the visitors from Bram Stoker to Bran, from Vlad the Impaler and Vlad Dracul to Dracula, in a place where ghosts reappear. The undead, Dames Blanches and the luminous figure of Queen Marie of Romania, legends of the woods, a pharaoh mummy or various other strange objects of our desires avert us from discerning between historical reality and fiction, between legend and imaginary.
The most beautiful cats in the world are invited to Dracula’s Castle. The feline lovers will have the chance to admire a wide range of breeds, from the well-known Maine Coon, Ragdoll and Norwegian Forest Cat, to the rare and unusual Scottish Fold, Don Sphynx or Rex Selkirk.
Knights and ladies, artisans, stories full of vivid imagination, words strung into a beautiful story written by Queen Mary, dances, puppets skillfully handled by professional actors, sweets and lots and lots of good cheer are the ingredients of a wonderful day, a day spent at the legendary edifice from Bran. All these are dedicated to the celebration of International Children's Day and the Day of Bran Castle.
The European Night of Museums is a perfect opportunity for history and mystery lovers to cross the threshold of Bran Castle, free of charge. This Saturday night, from 8PM until midnight, all the visitors will witness a unique tour; the darkness of the night, the moonlight and the stars will certainly enhance the special atmosphere that surrounds the cold walls of Bran Castle.
Bran Castle will resonate in perfect harmony with the the voices of the over 100 members of the choir Choral Society Twickenham UK.
For nearly an hour, guests Bran Castle will take part in a royal coral, interpreters covering a rich repertoire from the Renaissance to the present.
